Been on a couple of trips out this week, Whitby one day and then over to Chipping expecting to have brought several dozen flies back on my number plate or bonnet but not a single one, whats that all about, global warming?!!

Re: Can't Find My Flies!!

I've read it's all to do with insecticides being sprayed by farmers. Were you driving through countryside, Tony? The insecticides  kill off everything including the insects that birds depend on so in turn they become fewer.

Meanwhile each Govt lets it carry on. We're all going to Hell in a handcart.

Dame Nellie spent a week in Burnley last month and brought roughly ten million flies back on the fron of our car.  Maybe that’s who got ‘em all Tony.   lol

Yes countryside Tabby, the scenic route from Whitby and Chipping is Trough Of Bowland.

Re: Can't Find My Flies!!

I've got some great fly killers - those flower shapes that you stick on your windows.  So no awful fly spray, the flies are attracted to the flower and then die.

I've not heard of those Nola - where did you buy them.  They're not like fly paper are they full of small bodies?  neutral

Re: Can't Find My Flies!!

We get loads of bumble bees in ours in summer so I'd better not get those Nola. The poor things would be attracted to them too!
If anyone has any other ideas how to get them please let me know. We're plagued!
