Re: Lidl

It has zero community feel in there.
A big fat slab of zero community right at the heart of our community

Re: Lidl

You don't shop in Lidl you choose what you can tolerate,

Shaw Aldi is always car park full and buzzing when I pass,

I would have welcomed a Booths style store a bit more choice of quality,

Re: Lidl

A few weeks ago we were in Settle for a few days and I went into the Booth's Supermarket there, it was really  good and their fresh meat  counter and bakery section were first class.  When there was speculation about which supermarket was coming to Royton Booth's name was mentioned, shame it wasn't true.

Re: Lidl

I don’t mind it for the basics, but they don’t have very much of the stuff we buy, and not much veggies stuff.

Re: Lidl

I'm not sure exactly why, but I still choose to nip into the Coop for top up stuff when in Royton.
I think it's because I trail round Lidl and can't find what I need.
It's also got a nicer "feel"
Also I hate those weird sounding self-serve Lidl machines.

Really called Janet (and still confused)
